Khalid Awan is an experienced businessman with almost 20 years in the real estate development and construction industry. Previously he was Principal with Cambridge Group, LLC, a real estate investment and management company. Mr. Awan also has been appointed as Honorary Investment Counselor to the Pakistan Board of Investment, where he has been active in negotiating complex commercial and infrastructure development investments. Mr. Awan has completed the Master Planning Program in Real Estate Planning and Development at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Additionally, he has earned professional certification in Real Estate Development and Real Estate Development Finance from the New York State Real Estate Board. He also holds a diploma in Inter- national Trade & Transport from the World Trade Institute, and certifications from New York Institute of Finance and Harvard Law School.He has experience in supervising in almost every sector of the con- struction industry. Previously he worked for Westchester Exclusive Management, Inc. where he directly supervised over 100 remodeling and new construction projects of office buildings and business units ranging from 3 stories to 30 stories in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has directed over 75 design/build projects through the full project design, prelimi- nary estimating, engineering, final estimates, contract negotiations and construction cycle.
